She has a background in education, having taught English and Chinese both in China and the U.S., and holds a degree in teaching. Her passion for aviation began during her time as a flight attendant with American Airlines. Since 2022, she has worked full-time as a Certified Flight Instructor, sharing her love of flight with students from all backgrounds.
